Minato City has designated the period from Friday, February 1st to 29th as the "Month of Art Meet Minato 2008" and will hold various events pertaining to art at museums and civic centers on the theme "Children and Art." Take this as an opportunity to experience art, participate in the art events, and visit many great museums.

Workshop
"Trade Bazaar in Minatoku"
A shopping game where children can trade or barter their unwanted toys. They can also collect "Kaeru-points" given in exchange for a toy or work needed to participate in the auction!
Date & time: Sat., Feb. 23rd, 1--4 p.m.
Place: Tokyo International School, 3-4-22 Mita
Open to: Preschool to elementary school age children. Preschoolers must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian.
Capacity: 300 people
* No advance-application required. Just come by and join us.

Art Triathlon 1 "Quiz Rally"
Answer the "Minna de Minato Art Quiz" based on the City museums and become a master of Minato City museums.
Period: Fri., Feb. 1st--29th

Open to: Anyone

"Go-Shichi-Go (five-seven-five) word play at museums"
Compose a haiku or senryu based on your experience at museums. Submit your work on the predefined postcard.
