Minato at a Glance

Kangeiko is a traditional practice in many Japanese martial arts. It is a way to strengthen yourself physically and mentally and also to hone skills through intensive winter training. Minato City offers various facilities specifically intended for traditional Japanese martial arts, such as Minato Sports Center, Hikawa Budojo, and Akasaka Kyudojo. In those facilities, many devoted practitioners of kendo, jyudo, kyudo, naginata and other arts in a wide range of age groups seek the rigor of Kangeiko and experience the joy of sports.
