Invitation to Foreign Residents'
Discussion Meetings!

Minato city is working towards better community for both foreign people and Japanese to live comfortably together, and accordingly the Global Community Planning held Foreign Residents Discussion Meetings in FY 2008.
Encouraged by the participants' response, we decided to hold the meetings again this year! 16 members will be invited to attend three discussion meetings where we will be able to share mutual opinions and ideas concerning daily city services. Meetings are scheduled to be held in June, October and January.
Recommended topics to be discussed this year are "Foreign residents' participation in community activities" and "Disaster prevention".
As all three meetings are in English and Japanese, please join and have your say!

Time: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Place: Conference room at Minato City Hall 9F
Eligibility: Foreign residents over 20 who reside or work in Minato City
Application: Apply by phone, fax or post. Your name, address, age, gender, phone number and occupation are required.
Deadline: Thursday April 30
