Nabe

Nabe or Nabemono” is the one of popular winter cuisine in Japan. The word nabe’s original meaning is a cooking pot.
Soup, meat, vegetables, tofu, and more foodstuffs are served in a pot and the pot is usually placed in the center of the table.
The famous Japanese food, sukiyaki is also nabe-food.
People sit down at the table with their family/friends and eat foods from the nabe. They put the food into their own bowl and dip them in their favorite sauce.
To eat nabe-food warms up our mind and body and deepens people’s bonds. There are a lot of kinds of nabe-food in Japan. You might find your favorite nabe-food.
