 3.Nowruz In Japan 2018 Traditional Dance Concert hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan will host Nowruz In Japan 2018.

There will be a traditional Uzbek dance concert. This is the kind of concert you will not usually have the opportunity to see. We hope you will come.

You can rent meeting rooms of International Communication Space

Please use the rooms for international communication and other various purposes.

 6.Tokyo Chuo Library Exhibition — Tokyo, Now and Then — Prosperous Transition Brought on by Railway Development

You can see prosperity by comparing past and present, using the abundant resources of the Tokyo Municipal Chuo Library. Since the Meiji Era, Tokyo’s prosperity has grown in many areas due to the development of the railways. Come see this prosperity from the Edo Period and after the Meiji Era.

[Note] This Chatting Salon is for foreign mothers, Japanese mothers, and mothers in international marriages.

The salon is for exchanging information among mothers who want to communicate with each other while sharing their concerns and worries with each other. English, Chinese, and Korean-speaking staff available. This is an opportunity for mothers, especially mothers from foreign countries, to ask, “what should I do?”

Contents:

- Discussion time among participants.

- Useful information for disasters.

- We will distribute Tokyo Disaster Prevention information in foreign languages (English, Chinese, and Korean), and how to call emergency services (171) in a disaster.

* Children welcome. There is a changing room and breastfeeding room available.

 8.Walking tour through temples and shopping districts with an English-speaking guide

How would you like to participate in an English language walking tour through the historic sights of Minato City with a Minato City volunteer tourist guide?

The tour will visit historic temples and shopping districts in Azabujuban, Minato City.

  9.Traffic Personal Accidental Insurance for City Residents

Traffic Personal Accidental Insurance for City Residents is a low-cost insurance system for those who are injured in a car accident to receive the insurance based on the hospital stay days and outpatient treatment days/period.

Bicycle liability insurance is also available for those who own/use/manage a bicycle or wheelchair to compensate when they injure someone or break someone’s property with their bicycle or wheelchair. Starting at the next application term, we have revised the premiums and enhanced compensation. For details of the insurance including plans and premium, please read the insurance leaflet (Japanese only) available at Minato regional city offices or access the Minato City website.

 10. Using the Minato City Sports Center—Enjoy Sports in Minato City

Have you ever seen the large building at the East Exit of Tamachi Station?

This building is called, “Minato Park Shibaura.” It is the largest multi-purpose facility in Minato City and houses a combination of facilities to support the daily lives of Minato City residents. On the third through eighth floors is the Minato City Sports Center, where you can enjoy a variety of sports. General visitors who do not live or work in Minato can also use these facilities. It is open between 8:30 am and 10:30 pm, so you can even try getting some exercise after work.

 

On the 3rd floor, where the entrance is located, there are two pools, a large 25-meter pool and a small 13-meter pool.

There is also a Jacuzzi to soothe your aching muscles after swimming to refresh both your body and spirit.

Also on the 3rd floor is the Training Park, which has a gym area and studio area. The gym area is lined with training machines, and the studio area offers a variety of programs, focusing on aerobics. There is always an on-duty instructor in the gym, so first-time visitors can train in the gym with peace of mind. With 86 training machines and over 70 training programs per week, you are sure to be able to find something you want to do.

There are also 200 m running tracks on the 6th and 7th floors.

The 7th floor track is outdoors, so you can enjoy looking at the surrounding scenery while you run.
