Day Nurseries and After-School Club provide services to watch children during the day time while their parents are working. Temporary day care service for infants (Minato Hotto Room) is also available to mothers raising children at home.
Kodomo-Teate and Child Medical Subsidy are available to provide financial support to families in childcare. Single parent families, in particular, can utilize Child Support Allowance.
Child and Family Support Center is the place to contact to consult about child-rearing and nurturing as well as child abuse. Local day care centers and Children's Halls also provide childcare consultations. Family Consultation Subsection is in charge of consultations regarding single parent families and women's issues.
Children's Halls, day care centers, and other child facilities hold gatherings for infants and their parents on weekdays. They provide you opportunities to make friends with mothers who have the same aged children.
Mothers and fathers must grow as their children grow. Child and Family Support Center and health centers provide seminars and workshops for the parents.
