Making up a complex facility with the welfare center and the day care center, Takanawa Children's Hall is in a blessed environment with plentiful nature of Takanawa Park that spreads in front of the facility. Children often go to this park as if it were a part of the Children's Hall facility. The park is also used for Children's Hall events such as Children's Street Fair as well as for the gathering of infants and their parents called Kids Time as a means to connect children to nature.
Children of various ages interact with one another in various rooms. The music room, in particular, has a piano, a xylophone, a metallophone, and percussion instruments, therefore the music group led by an instructor can enjoy playing in concert, using a variety of instruments. Roller hockey on the rooftop and "Takanawa Garden Pool" in the summer time are also popular.

Weekend Open House :Sun, Feb. 5, 12, 19, and 26.
The Children's Hall will be closed on Sat, Feb. 11 for National Foundation Day
If you want to participate in events at the Children's Hall, please register by yourself within the opening hours between Monday and Saturday. You cannot register for your brothers, sisters, or friends.

Application forms for After School Club in 2012 is available.
Registration is open from Fri, Jan. 27 till Tue, Feb. 14.
An interview is required before registration. Book the date and time of the interview in advance.
Toy Hospital :Mon, Feb. 20, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm (registration will be closed at 12:00 noon on the day of the event).
No charge for repairs; however, costs may be charged for parts.
Registration is open anytime. (Except Sundays and national holidays.)

"Fun Roller Time"

Group Activities "Roller Hockey Group"
Contents	We will improve our skating technique and enjoy hockey, and practice for the Minato City Roller Hockey Exchange Event on Tue, Mar. 27. Instructor: Mr. Ryota Horiuchi
Target Participants	First graders and older who can skate and stop.
Date and Time	Tue, Feb. 7, 14, 21, and 28. 3:20 pm - 4:00 pm for first graders up to ten people. 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm for second and third graders up to twenty people, and fourth graders and older up to eight people.
