For new residents

A Welcome Package

Various information is provided to foreign residents who have newly moved into Minato City at the registration counter of each Regional City Office. Some of the leaflets and guidebooks contained in the Welcome Package are also available at the Multilingual Information Corner located in the Minato City Hall.

For children and education

Minato Kids

Guidebook offering various information about childrearing from pregnancy until a child is 18 years of age. Available at the Children and Families Support Center, and the Child and Family Section on the seventh floor of Minato City Hall.

Minato Public Elementary and Junior High School Guidebook

Introduction to municipal elementary and junior high schools available at the School Affairs Section on the seventh floor of Minato City Hall. It can also be viewed from the Minato City Web.

List of Japanese Language Classes

Introduces classes offered by volunteers in Minato City, available at the Multilingual Information Corner of the City Hall.

Disaster preparation

Evacuation maps, leaflets and booklets are available at each Regional City Office, and the Disaster Prevention Section on the fifth floor of Minato City Hall.
