Application for 2024 Municipal Kindergarten Enrollment

Minato City municipal kindergartens will be accepting applications for children aged 3, 4, and 5. For more details, please visit the Minato Web after 11/10.

Eligibility

Applicants must qualify for all the criteria below.
1. Both guardians and children have an address in Minato City and children were born within the following periods:
- 3 years old: 4/2, 2020—4/1, 2021
- 4 years old: 4/2, 2019—4/1, 2020
- 5 years old: 4/2, 2018—4/1, 2019
For 5 years old, recruitment will not be conducted at all, but the applications will be accepted all the time.
2. Guardians are able to accompany children to and from the kindergarten.

Municipal kindergartens, School Affairs Section on the 7th floor of the City Hall, Residents’ Support Sections of Regional City Offices and Daiba Annex.

11/20 to 22
Applications are accepted at kindergartens from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., and at the School Affairs Section from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Note

Applicants will be selected by a drawing in case the number of applicants exceeds the capacity. Application forms can be downloaded from the Minato Web from 11/10
Electronic application is accepted from 11/13 to 22.

Childcare fee

Childcare fee will be free.

Extended childcare support

All Minato City municipal kindergartens will be offering extended care hours for children as part of the city’s Childrearing Support Care program.
