Municipal Elementary & Junior High Schools Enrollment

Minato City is now accepting enrollment applications for children of foreign nationals living in Minato City, who wish to enter municipal elementary schools or junior high schools in April 2024. Please contact the supervising subsection for any application related inquiries.

Eligibility

Elementary Schools

Children born between 4/2, 2017 and 4/1, 2018

Junior High Schools

Children born between 4/2, 2011 and 4/1, 2012

Required documents

A certificate that verifies the child’s name, date of birth, and address, such as residence card, as well as parents’ ID.
