 1.Come to the Minato Citizens' Festival International Friendship Square.

The International Friendship Square is an area where you can experience the appealing sights and cultures of various countries. Enjoy food, wine, and beer of various countries. There will also be introductions of tourism in various countries and rare folk crafts for sale.

At the mini-stage in the area, there will be musical performances and workshops from Bolivia, Ethiopia, Germany, Ghana, the Philippines, and Uruguay, as well as a Chinese lion dance and mask show.

We hope you will come to the International Friendship Square to watch, eat, play, and enjoy!

 4.Encounter the Unique Culture of Ukraine — 27th Anniversary of Ukrainian Independence Photo Exhibition to be held.

This event is hosted in cooperation with the Ukrainian Embassy. See the country’s long history and traditional national culture.

 5.Keio University Architecture Promenade — Tour and Lecture to be held.

This free tour and lecture will explore the history and buildings of Keio University. Participants can also enter buildings that are usually off-limits.

 6.Tokyo Bay Area Cruise and Walking Tour to be held.

Minato City Tourism Volunteer Guides will show off the best spots for photos in the Bay area in English! This tour will also include hands-on calligraphy and origami experiences.

[Meet at] JR Tamachi Station Ticket Gate

[Ending Location] Odaiba Marine Park Station on the Yurikamome Line

[Eligibility] Elementary school students and older who understand English

[Route] JR Tamachi Station →Shibaura Island →Tokyo Bay Cruise on board a small cruiser → Odaiba Marine Park → Statue of Liberty → Odaiba Civic Center (Hands-on Japanese culture experience) → Odaiba Marine Park Station on the Yurikamome Line

[How to Apply] Go to the Minato City Tourism Association website (http://www.minato-kanko.com), click on Volunteer Guided Tour (ENGLISH), then click on Entry Form.

[Capacity] 10 (selected by lottery if more than 10 people apply)

[Participation Fee] Cruiser fare: 600 JPY (300 JPY for children)

 9. Aoyama Japanese Class to be held.

 

The Aoyama Japanese Class is held as an opportunity for people who cannot speak Japanese or who have not yet had the chance to learn Japanese to deepen their understanding of Japanese.

Why not learn Japanese expressions, culture, and customs

to use Japanese in your daily life?
