 3.Strolling Card Rally through the Food, Culture, and History of Azabu

麻布カードツアー

This card rally will take you through sweets shops in the commercial district in the Azabu area (including Japanese and Western sweets, cafes, and bakeries), as well as musems and other cultural facilities. Collect multiple cards to win prizes by lottery!

During the card rally, we are also holding a panel exhibition (exhibiting panels introducing countries) with cooperation from different embassies in the first floor lobby of the Azabu Regional City Office.

 4. Introduction of Study Group for non-Japanese children and families “EGAO”

This new study group will begin in November.

Volunteer teachers will teach students who attend public school but do not speak Japanese natively. Please bring your school homework, text books, work books, etc.

You can also consult us when you had difficulty at school.

The study group will be conducted in Japanese but there is also English-speaking staff.

[Dates and Times] First Sunday of every month (December 2, 2018, and January 6, February 3, and March 3, 2019), 10:00 am – 12:00 noon

[Venue] Minato Park Shibaura 1F, Shibaura Konan Regional Volunteer Corner

 6. Overview of facilities in Minato City — The National Art Center 

This art museum offers a variety of exhibits utilizing Japan’s largest exhibition space. It collects materials and information related to art, exhibits and provides them, and spreads education. It is also equipped with a nursing room, childcare service (prior application required), a reastaurant/café, and a museum shop.

 8. How to use Minato City Bicycle Sharing

Minato City Bicycle Sharing is a convenient system that has, in addition to over 40 cycle ports throughout Minato City, ports in other wards (Chiyoda City, Chuo City, Shinjuku City, Bunkyo City, Koto City, Shinagawa City, Ota City, and Shibuya City). You can rent and return bicycles at any port in these nine wards.

Please note that parking bicycles outside of designated bicycle-parking lots is prohibited.

When parking your bicycle, please use a special bicycle-parking lot or temporarily return it to a bicycle sharing port.

 9. Event to be held: Nature viewing in Shibakoen — Create an autumn-inspired treasure chest

Look at the acorns that ripen in fall as you learn about the nature that is woven throughout Shibakoen Park. Then, use the fallen leaves and nuts to create a treasure chest inspired by a fruitful fall. Come interact with the rich plants of Shibakoen.
