 1. [Minato City Traditional Culture Introduction Program] Hands-on workshop of Japanese traditional performing arts for foreigners to be held


In order for foreigners to gain a better understanding of Japanese performing arts, a workshop teaching how to strike a kabuki pose will be held, while the climactic scene of Renjishi (a string of lions) will also be performed. We are looking forward to your participation.

 4.Minato City Traditional Crafts Exhibition — The Beauty of Skilled Craftsmanship — to be held


This exhibition will show the traditional handcrafts of 9 Minato City traditional craftspeople.

In addition to displays of traditional instruments such as koto and shamisen, there will also be panels introducing traditional crafts and a Minato City Traditional Crafts pamphlet will be distributed. We hope you will come.

 5.Seeking part-time teacher for Minato City elementary schools’ international class

We are seeking a part-time international class teacher. Details are as follows:

1. Must be able to give instruction in English and have TOEIC score of 850 or higher, have passed level 1 of the Eiken English Proficiency Test, or possess equivalent English proficiency.

2. Must have understanding and passion for the International Understanding Education program of the Minato City elementary schools.

 10.Protect yourself from fire

Plan ahead and protect yourself from fire.

- Do not smoke in bed. Extinguish your cigarette butts in water, and throw out cigarette butts before they accumulate.

- Do not place or dry flammable items such as clothing close to heaters. Turn off you heater when you go to bed or leave home.

- Stay near the stove while cooking. Don’t place anything around your stove that could catch on fire.

- Clean your electrical outlets well, insert plugs fully into outlets, and do not bend cords or run them under furniture.
