3. Take care to prevent heat stroke!

As the rainy season ends, the risk of heat stroke increases. Take care on days when it gets hot quickly, on high-temperature days, on days with little wind, and on days with high humidity.

Heat stroke causes you to become fatigued and dizzy or get a headache due to an increased body temperature. In extreme cases, it can cause you to lose consciousness and it can even be life-threatening.

Weaker individuals, such as seniors, infants, and the sick must be especially careful.

[What to do]

Heat stroke symptoms come on quickly. If you do not have the stamina to drink water or if your symptoms do not improve, go immediately to a medical institution and get examined.

If you do not have the stamina to get examined, call an ambulance immediately. (If you are not sure whether you should call an ambulance, dial #7119.)
