3. You can use indoor pools at public schools and Minato City municipal elementary and junior high schools in Minato City

People who live and work in Minato City can use the indoor pools at schools in the city!

We hope you will take advantage of them if you are feeling tired and need to be refreshed.

[Eligibility] Anyone with a personal registration card who lives or works in Minato City (no card required for children in junior high school and younger).

Please bring any of the following forms of identification. You may begin to use the pool starting the date you provide identification.

For Minato City residents: An ID that shows your name and address (driver’s license, health insurance card, resident card, etc.)

For people who work in Minato City: An ID that shows your company address and your (the user’s) name (employee ID, health insurance card, work certificate, etc.)

*A business card is not sufficient for registration.

4. Public Relations program “Feel your Minato with your fellow ward residents” is currently being broadcast.

“Feel your Minato with your fellow ward residents” is a program updated four times every year (generally on the first day of May, August, November, and February) bilingually in Japanese and English. Each episode focuses on the activities of individuals and associations active in Minato City.

The August episode covers Minato City’s first Half Marathon, held in December of last year. The program presents stories of both participants and staff. In other ward news, we are offering guidance about Rubella antibody tests and scheduled immunizations. Please enjoy reading the mail magazine.

5. Mayor’s essay published in the August edition of the Mail Magazine.

Minato City has been publishing “Minato City Mail Magazine Kiratto” on the 1st every month, which delivers essays by the Mayor Masaaki Takei and child-raising related information.

Users simply input keywords for the information they want to know through Facebook Messenger year-round, 24 hours a day and receive the information they want directly. Facebook Messenger can be used for free.

1. Access the Minato Information Board Facebook page run by the international and cultural office (https://facebook.com/city.minato.mib/(external link))

2. Click “Send message” to contact.

3. Ask the AI a question.

4. The AI selects the appropriate response from a pre-registered FAQ and answers your question in chat format. Users select whether the response was helpful or not.
