1.Minato City is on LINE

Minato City began sending out new information using LINE starting on October 1, 2020.

Emergency information (disaster / disaster prevention information, etc.), event information, and lifestyle information (notifications and support programs provided by the city, etc.) is delivered through the Minato City official LINE account.

By allowing users to select the information they want to receive in addition to the emergency information that is delivered automatically, we will provide the necessary information to those who need it in an appropriate and efficient manner.

We hope you will take advantage of it!

2.We are publishing the English newsletter, "Minato Monthly"

◇ We can mail the newsletter to residents’ homes.

3.VISIT MINATO Promotional Campaign - Receive points equivalent to 50% of the purchase price when you use LINE Pay!

In order to support tourism in Minato City, which has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are implementing the “VISIT MINATO Promotional Campaign”, during which users will receive LINE points equivalent to 50% of the payment amount (up to a maximum of 5,000 yen) when they use "LINE Pay" for purchases (LINE Pay code payment) at designated tourist facilities and shops in the city.

4.Information about influenza immunization/vaccination

◇ Free vaccination for the elderly (65 years old and older)

・From October 1 (Thu), 2020 to January 31 (Sun), 2021

・The pre-vaccination check sheet was sent to eligible persons on September 28th.

5.Traditional Japanese Culture - Seeking Participants for a “Shodo” Demonstration and Workshop

Shodo, the embodiment of the Japanese spirit and culture 

Enjoy some time spent in quiet contemplation.

Content:

- Learn about the history of Shodo

- Learn how to create a special piece of calligraphy for the New Year

- Creating a final piece of calligraphy on colored paper

Date & Time: December 5 (Saturday), 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Venue: Minato City Lifelong Learning Center, Room 304

Capacity: First 20 people. Participation fee: 500 yen

Application: Call the Minato UNESCO Association at 03-3434-2300 (Tuesday-Friday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm)

* Please make sure to wear masks, wash your hands, and take your temperature in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

6.There is a new multilingual AI chat!

It is now easier to use our service, which utilizes AI in a chat-format, to automatically get answers to your inquiries about administrative information! It is easier to understand with simple search methods which employ multiple choice options, as well as maps and images.
