Q1: I want to make an appointment and ask questions about vaccinations in foreign language.
A1: Inquiries and vaccination appointment in Minato City are available through the Minato City COVID-19 Vaccination Call Center.

The COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center of Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare , Tel: 0120-761770 accepts general inquiries about vaccinations in seven foreign languages including English.

Q2: What are the people with underlying conditions who have high priority for receiving the vaccine? How do I declare that I have an underlying condition?
A2: Details on the people with underlying conditions are set out on the reverse side of the “Notice on COVID-19 Vaccinations” sent out at the same time as the vaccination ticket. An underlying condition can be declared when you are making appointment, or on the day of the vaccination by indicating in the Prevaccination Screening Questionnaire for COVID-19 Vaccine.

Q3: I want to receive the vaccination early so that I can go abroad.
A3: It is necessary to make an appointment before receiving the vaccination. Please make an appointment and receive vaccination.

Q4: How can staff and other personnel related to embassies, etc. in Minato City be vaccinated?
A4: Based on the list of eligible person submitted by each embassy, etc. Minato City has sent out the vaccination ticket and Prevaccination Screening Questionnaire for COVID-19 Vaccine to embassy staff, etc. who are not registered residents of Japan. They can receive the vaccination using this document. These documents can only be used at Minato City’s vaccination venues. They cannot be used to receive the vaccination at large-scale national vaccination centers.

Q5: Which vaccines are used at Minato City’s vaccination venues?
A5: The Pfizer vaccine and Takeda/Moderna vaccine are currently distributed. Inquire at the Minato City COVID-19 Vaccination Call Center on which vaccine is used at each venue. As you will receive the same vaccine for both the first and second vaccinations, be careful when you make an appointment.
