Municipal Elementary & Junior High Schools Enrollment

Minato City is now accepting enrollment applications for children of foreign nationals living in Minato City, who wish to enter municipal elementary schools or junior high schools in April 2022. Please contact the supervising subsection for any application related inquiries.

Eligibility

Elementary Schools

Children born between April 2, 2015 and April 1, 2016

Junior High Schools

Children born between April 2, 2009 and April 1, 2010

Required documents

A certificate that verifies the child’s name, date of birth, and address, such as residence card, as well as parents’ ID.
