Support for Students in Need

Minato City provides material support, such as school supplies and school lunch fee assistance, for students attending elementary or junior high school who are having financial difficulties.

Eligibility

Minato City residents who are receiving public welfare assistance and/or child-rearing allowance, or whose total income last year meets the eligibility requirements for school expense subsidy designated by the Minato City Board of Education.

Application

Mail or bring the application form to the School Administration Support Subsection located on the 7th floor of Minato City Hall by April 21.

Related documents, including instruction guidelines, specified application forms and submission envelopes are distributed at the student’s public elementary or junior high school in Minato city.
