Minato City Consultation Services for Foreign Residents

Minato City offers consultation services and information on matters pertaining to the city government and everyday life for foreigners who conduct activities in Minato City. No reservations are required.

How to consult: Call or visit the counter.

Consultation hours: Mon. to Fri. 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
*Excluding holidays and Dec. 29 to Jan. 3

Languages: Japanese, English, Chinese,Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai, Russian, Tagalog, Nepali, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Hindi and French.

Metropolitan Government Consultation Service for Foreigners

All foreign residents living in Tokyo can use this service, which provides consultation about daily life over the phone.

Hours and languages: 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Foreign Resident Consultations by the Minato International Association (M.I.A.)

If you have a problem or concern in your everyday life, you can talk to volunteers. Make a reservation before using it.

Languages: English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, and French

Consultation hours: Mon. to Sat. 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and .1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Appointments are required).

You can consult with us if you are discriminated against or treated unfairly for being a "foreigner."

① Advisory Services for Foreign Workers

This service provides consultation in foreign languages regarding problems encountered in the workplace.

  • When wages or overtime payments are not received.
  • For dismissal without notice

There are two places that you can receive consultation by the phone or in person.
When receiving in-person consultation, be sure to make a phone call to request a day and time for your visit.
