Subsidy for household food waste disposal machine, etc.

Eligibility

Households that meet all of the following requirements

• City residents
• Household food waste disposal machine, etc. must be purchased and used continuously within the city for at least 6 months from the date of purchase.
• Have not received this grant within the past three years
• At the time of application, three months have not passed since the date of purchase of the household food waste disposal machine, etc.

Loan Period

Household food waste disposal machine (excluding disposer-type machines), compost containers

Subsidy Amount

One half of the purchase cost (including tax) of one food waste disposal unit per household (rounded down to the nearest 100 yen, with a maximum subsidy limit of 20,000 yen)

*If there is a discount offered by the store where the purchase is made, such as the use of points, the cost after the discount will be the amount eligible for the subsidy.

*If the cumulative total of applications for a given year exceeds the budgeted amount, the grant will not be awarded.

Please send the completed application form, along with the original receipt (paper roll receipt is not acceptable), by mail or bring in person to the following address:
