Moving Out of Minato City

Important Moving Reminders

Before moving out

• If you have resident registration in Minato City, please complete the moving-out procedures at city hall.
• If you are insured under the National Health Insurance (NHI), please return your NHI card to Minato City. You will not be able to use the NHI card issued to you by Minato City in your new location.
• Please complete the change of address notification at a post office. Your mail will be forwarded to the new address for one year. The notification form is available at post offices.
• Contact the Bureau of Waterworks, your electric power company, your gas company, etc.

After moving out

• Change your address on your driver’s license at the police station or driver’s license center in your new location.
