Spring National Traffic Safety Campaign

 

4/10 is the Traffic Accident Elimination Day and 4/6 to 15 is the National Traffic Safety Campaign week. There were 1,204 accidents and 1,353 casualties, an increase of 85 and 119 cases respectively from the year 2022. Please obey traffic rules and manners to reduce traffic accidents.

 

Campaign Activities

1. Securing a road traffic environment that children can walk safely, practicing safe road crossing methods.
2. Promoting pedestrian-first mindset and “considerate, respectful” driving.
3. Ensuring traffic rules and wearing helmets when using electric scooters and bicycles.
4. Prevention of two-wheel vehicle accidents.

To Cyclists

Wear helmets when riding bicycles for safety. Use reflective stickers on your bicycles and always turn on your lights at night to prevent traffic accidents.
Please enroll in insurance to secure yourself in case an accident occurs.

To Electric Scooter Users

Wear a helmet for safety.
Comply with the Road Traffic Act and drive on the road with a license plate on the vehicle.
Enroll in automobile liability insurance.
