Minato City Traffic Safety Poster Contest Best Works for FY2024

4/10 is the Traffic Accident Elimination Day and 4/6 to 15 is the National Traffic Safety Campaign week. In 2024, 1,115 accidents and 1,233 casualties Minato City had, a decrease of 89 and 120 cases respectively from the year 2023. Please obey traffic rules and manners to reduce traffic accidents.

Campaign Activities

1. Secure a road environment that is safe for all pedestrians, including children, and practice proper road crossing
2. Ensure thorough awareness of pedestrian right-of-way, eradicate distracted driving, and promote the proper use of seatbelts and child seats
3. Wear a helmet and comply with traffic rules when riding a bicycle or specified small motorized bicycle
4. Preventing Motorcycle Accidents

To Cyclists

Wear helmets when riding bicycles for safety. Use reflective stickers on your bicycles and always turn on your lights at night to prevent traffic accidents.

To Specified Small Motorized Bicycles Users

Wear a helmet for safety.
Comply with the Road Traffic Act and drive on the road with a license plate on the vehicle.
Enroll in automobile liability insurance.
