Please Cooperate with the Nationwide Census

The year 2025 will mark the implementation of the quinquennial national census. The census is conducted on October 1 and targets all individuals and households residing in Japan. The census is an important survey that provides the administrative data for national, prefectural, and municipal social welfare and employment policies, environmental development, disaster prevention planning, and more, which then help to clarify the current state of the population and households. You can respond to this survey either online or by mail. For more details, please refer to the materials distributed along with the questionnaire by the census enumerator.
