Be prepared through disaster prevention measures at home and work.
Staying at home is the basic form of evacuation
Staying home during a disaster means not evacuating to a shelter but remaining in your own home. This reduces the risk of contracting infectious diseases in the shelters and allows you to stay in a familiar environment without worrying about stress or privacy.
Have you stored emergency supplies?
Prepare sufficient supplies for at least three days, and preferably for seven days or more.

Water: 3 liters
Food (e.g., instant rice, canned goods, and retort pouch meals): 3 meals
Portable toilets: about 5 uses
Prevent furniture from toppling over
In recent earthquakes, 30% to 50% of injuries were caused by falling furniture.
Secure large furniture firmly and arrange the room layout with safety in mind.
The city provides a free furniture anti-tip device (limited to one per household).
