Sunday, public holidays, and 12/28: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
<Takanawa Library Annex> Monday to Sunday: 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
<Daiba Library> Monday to Sunday(including public holidays): 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Minato City Digital Library

For those who find it difficult to visit a library in person, the Digital Library is highly recommended. Through the internet, you can borrow e-books and access other digital materials directly on your devices. The Minato City Digital Library currently offers 8,752 e-books and magazines.

Eligibility

Residents, workers, and students in the city who are registered users of the city libraries.

How to Use

Search for your desired e-books on the Minato City Digital Library website and complete the borrowing process. (Up to 5 items at a time, reservations available.)
Loan Period: 2 weeks Items are automatically returned when the loan period expires.

Minato Library

Established in 1979 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Minato City, this library features a wide range of audiovisual services, including film screenings with expert commentary.

Mita Library

As the city library with the largest floor space and the most extensive collection, it also works in partnership with the adjacent Industry Promotion Center and other facilities to provide comprehensive business support.

Azabu Library

With its distinctive exterior that immediately draws attention, the library provides a wide range of materials in various foreign languages— including children’s books—catering to the needs of the area’s many international residents.

Konan Library

Opened in 1996 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Minato City, this facility offers a wide range of events for children and families, such as storytelling sessions and puppet shows, creating a fun and engaging environment for young visitors.

Takanawa Library

Working together with the Minato Public Health Center, the library actively shares health information. It also organizes a variety of exhibitions and events in collaboration with local educational institutions and community centers.

A library mainly for children aged 0 to 18. It offers study seats for self-study and features a rich collection of children's books that small kids can enjoy.

Established in 2024 after transitioning from the Daiba Community Center Library, Daiba Library gathers materials related to the local area and works to showcase the distinctive charm of the Daiba community.
