Announcement of Nursery School Applications for April 2026

Residents wishing to enroll children in a nursery school in April 2026 should apply within the application period at the Residents Support Section, Health and Welfare Subsection of each Regional City Office.

Application period

First Round
By mail/online: 10/30(Thu.) to 11/21(Fri) (must arrive by Friday)
In person: 10/30(Thu.) to 12/2(Tue.) until 5:00 p.m.
Second Round
By mail/online: 1/16/2026(Fri) to 2/9/2026(Mon.)
(must arrive by Monday)
In person: 1/29/2026(Thu.) to 2/9/2026(Mon.) until 5:00 p.m.

This booklet contains details about the application period, eligibility requirements, and required documents, as well as information on nursery fees and other childcare services. The 2026 edition will be available on the Minato City website and distributed at public nursery schools and other locations from late November.
