Pupils' Clubs

Pupils’ clubs aim to provide children with an appropriate space for playing and living, and ensuring their sound development. The program is provided for children whose guardians cannot care for them at home after school hours for reasons such as work. Pupils’ Clubs are offered at Children’s Halls in Minato City, Iigura Pupils’ Club, Kids-to-Teens Halls, and Senior Citizens Plaza, Hoka GO → Club. If you wish to have your child enter any pupils’ club, contact the desired facility directly.

Intended audience: Elementary school children who live in Minato City or go to elementary schools in Minato City

Hours
After school: to 7:00 p.m.
During school breaks: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Closed: Sundays, holidays, and Dec. 29 to Jan. 3

Fees: 3,000 yen/month In addition, costs for snacks and Otanoshimi Kaihi (fee for various activities) of 2,000 yen are required.

 

Children’s Halls

Children’s Halls are facilities where children can play. They typically include playrooms, reading rooms, and craft rooms, where children are taught by full-time counselors who provide supervision.

Opening hours
Mon. to Fri.: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sat.: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Closed: Sundays, holidays, and Dec. 29 to Jan. 3

Kids-to-Teens Halls

Kids-to-Teens Halls are facilities designed to ensure the physically and mentally healthy development of children.

Opening hours: 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Closed: Holidays, Dec. 29 to Jan. 3

* The facilities themselves are available even on Dec. 29 and 30 (excluding Takanawa Kids-to-Teens Hall).
*Infants must be accompanied by a guardian.

Shibaura Island Children and Senior Citizens Plaza “Ai-Pura”

Shibaura Island Children and Senior Citizens Plaza functions both as a Children’s Hall for infants to children up to 18 years old, and as a senior activity center for senior citizens aged 60 and older. Hence, it provides a place where children and senior citizens can interact with one another.

Opening hours: 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., until 6:15 p.m. on holidays, Dec. 29 and 30

Closed: Dec. 31 to Jan. 3
