Minato City offers a wide variety of services for the disabled, based on their degree of disability. Thosewishing to take advantage of these services should contact the relevant city department or organization.

- Supply of daily-use equipment and the issuance and repair of support devices
- Home improvements
- Allowances for the disabled
- Child Support Allowance, Child-rearing Allowance (Jido Fuyo Teate)

Health Promotion Section, Minato Public Health Center
Pediatricians, public health nurses, and registered dieticians provide consultation on child-rearing concerns. Also provides counseling and support for people with a mental disability or illness.

Health and Welfare Center for the Disabled “Human Plaza”
