Preventing Need For Nursing Care

Nursing Independence General Center “Rakuccha”

This facility specializes in promoting the prevention of nursing care. In principle, those who are aged 65 and older residing in Minato City can use the services free of charge. Users can participate in nursing care prevention classes and use the machine training room (individual registration is required). Specialized personnel provide support tailored to each individual. Some programs are available for those who are aged 60 and older.

To help Minato City residents continue to be healthy, the Nursing Independence General Center “Rakuccha”promotes activities based on the following five concepts:

1. Development/provision of nursing care preventive programs
2. Individual and continuous health support
3. Support for local nursing care prevention activities
4. Implementation of training programs for nursing care prevention
5. Provision of information on prevention of nursing care
