Make Summer Memories! Enjoy Fireworks at the Park

The use of open flames is generally prohibited in Minato City parks and children's parks. However, to help local children create fun summer memories, handheld fireworks may be enjoyed during the period below.
Please follow the rules and enjoy the fireworks safely.

Eligibility

Small groups that include at least one child (under 18 years of age)

Dates & Times

Until August 31 (Mon) 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

*The permitted time includes both setup and cleanup.

Please Follow These Rules

• A parent or guardian must accompany children at all times.
• Bring a bucket filled with water.
• Do not use fireworks in areas where fire could easily spread, such as lawns or near planted areas.
• Take all used fireworks and other trash home with you.
• Fireworks that make loud noises or fly into the air, such as aerial fireworks and rocket fireworks, are not permitted.
• Do not run or wave fireworks around while holding them.
• After use, make sure all fireworks are completely extinguished and that the area is safe.
• Be considerate of nearby residents and other park users.
• If complaints are received from nearby residents, fireworks must be stopped immediately.

*If these rules are not followed or complaints are received, fireworks may no longer be permitted at the park.
