Discover Minato City’s Public Pools This Summer

Sparkling water, refreshing splashes, and summer fun just around the corner.
Minato City's public pools offer an easy and enjoyable way to cool off close to home. Why not add one to your list of destinations this summer?

Aqua Field Shiba Park

Just a one-minute walk from Shibakoen Station, Aqua Field Shiba Park is an outdoor pool with an excellent location overlooking Tokyo Tower.
Whether after work or during a break, it's easy to stop by and enjoy a swim.
The facility features a 50-meter, eight-lane main pool and a children's pool with a slide, which makes it a great destination for visitors of all ages.

Eligibility

Anyone aged 3 or older

*Children who have not yet completed toilet training may not use the pools.

Until September 15 (Tue)
9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
(In September: until 5:00 p.m.)
Closed on August 3 (Mon), and
September 13 (Sun).

Adults: JPY 600
Children (elementary, junior high, and high school students): JPY 100
Free for preschool children, Minato City residents aged 65 or older, and residents with disabilities

*Valid for up to two hours

Good to Know

Inflatable swim rings are welcome. Kickboards and arm floaties are available to borrow.

School Indoor Pools

The heated indoor pools at the Minato City elementary and junior high schools are open to the public on weekday evenings and during the daytime on weekends. The pools are ideal for people who want to swim in a quieter environment, even after work. Not only are they perfect for staying active during the summer, but they are also available year-round to fit your lifestyle.

Minato City residents, employees, and students aged 3 or older, as well as accompanying visitors

Admission

Minato City residents, employees, and students: ¥500
Elementary, junior high, and high school students: ¥100
Accompanying visitors: ¥800
Free for preschool children, Minato City residents aged 65 or older, and residents with disabilities

*Admission is valid for up to two hours

Minato City residents, employees, and students who are high school age or older must obtain a personal registration card before using the facilities.
The card can be issued on the same day. Please bring identification.
Some facilities accept cashless payment (transportation IC cards only).

*The pool at Minato City Sports Center is closed until Wednesday, March 31, 2027.

Good to Know

- Open at 10 locations
- Free admission for Minato City residents on the first and third Sundays of each month
- Free admission for elementary, junior high, and high school students on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month
