Akasaka/Aoyama Meet-Up Project

 

 

The Akasaka/Aoyama Meet-Up Project brings together people of diverse nationalities who live, work, or study in the Akasaka and Aoyama areas and encourages them to take part in local community activities and connect with Japanese residents as members of the community.
In 2026, under the theme Discovering the Appeal of Our Community, participants will join group discussions and hands-on activities where Japanese and international participants will share local issues, explore solutions together,
and deepen their involvement in the community.

Eligibility

1. Japanese nationals who live, work, or study in the Akasaka and Aoyama areas
2. Foreign nationals who live, work, or study in the Akasaka and Aoyama areas

*The sessions will be conducted in easy-to-understand Japanese.

Date & Time

Session 1: October 3 (Sat) 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
(Sessions are held once or twice a month, generally on Saturdays or Sundays, for a total of six sessions.)

*Participants are welcome to attend just one session, or as many sessions as they like.
*Details of future sessions will be announced on the Minato City website and other channels.

20 participants per session (selected by lottery)

Apply through the application form on the Minato City website by Wednesday,
September 16. Details of Sessions 2 through 6, including the program and schedule, will be announced on the Minato City website.
