Recruitment of Children for Minato City Municipal Kindergartens for April 2027

Eligibility by Age

3-year-olds: Children born between
April 2, 2023, and April 1, 2024
4-year-olds: Children born between
April 2, 2022, and April 1, 2023

Application Eligibility

Children must reside in Minato City with their parent or guardian, who must be able to take them to and pick them up from kindergarten.

Where to Obtain Application Guidelines and Forms

Application guidelines and forms will be available for download from the Minato City website from November 11 (Wed). They will also be available at municipal kindergartens (9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), the School Affairs Section (7th floor, Minato City Hall), the Counter Services Subsection, Residents Support Section of each Regional City Office, and the Daiba Annex.

Online Application: Please apply using the application form on the Minato City website between 8:30 a.m. on November 11 and 5:00 p.m. on November 24.
By Mail: Applications must arrive by November 24 (Tue). Send them to:
Educational Affairs Subsection, School Affairs Section, Minato City Office, 105-8511
In Person: From November 11 (Wed) to November 24 (Tue), submit the kindergarten admission application form and receipt form to the municipal kindergarten you wish your child to attend (2:30 to 4:30 p.m.) or to the School Affairs Section.
