The child allowance is a system to ensure that society as a whole supports the nurturing of its children, who will become the leaders of the next generation. The allowance is paid to rearers who takes care of a child up to the third year of junior high school (until the first March 31 after the day he/she reaches the age of 15).

*Persons whose child is in a legal institution (except nursery schools) and those with high income are not eligible for this program. Inquire for details regarding the amount of allowance and payment methods.
