Notice of Temporary Counter Services at the End and Beginning of the Fiscal Year

To accommodate the increased number of residents moving in and out because of job transfers, school enrollment, and employment changes, the Shiba Area Regional City Office, Residents Support Section, will open its service counters temporarily on the last Saturday of March and the first Saturday of April.

(Counter Services Subsection, Certificate Issuance Subsection, Consultation Subsection, Family Registry Subsection, and Health and Welfare Subsection)

*Please note that other regional city offices will not be open.

Main Services Available

• Acceptance of notifications for moving in, moving out, and change of address
• Acceptance of applications for personal seal (Inkan) registration
• Renewal of electronic certificates installed on My Number Cards
• Certificate of Residence, seal registration certificates, and family registry certificates
  (Excluding wide-area issuance of resident records and family registry certificates)
• Issuance of tax payment and taxation certificates
• Collection of resident tax
• Collection of National Health Insurance premiums, Long-Term Care Insurance premiums, and Late-Stage Elderly Medical Care Insurance premiums
• Acceptance of family registry notifications
• Acceptance of applications for Child Allowance
• Acceptance of applications for Child Medical Expense Subsidy
• Acceptance of applications for High School Student Medical Expense Subsidy

Services Not Available

• Certain procedures related to moving in, such as moves from overseas, some procedures using the My Number Card, and address setting, cannot be accepted.
• Family registry notifications will be accepted for acceptance only; issuance of acceptance certificates will not be available on the same day.
• In addition, services that require confirmation with other municipalities or related organizations cannot be handled.
